A newborn session with the big brothers/sisters is a whole new challenge!
Taking sibling shots is my first priority if the newborn baby has older siblings. However, it’s almost impossible to ask toddlers to sit quietly and wait for their turns for pictures. The best way is to take the sibling shots first while the older brothers/sisters are curious and excited about my visit to their home. Then they can go play when I continue the session. I strongly recommend parents to dress their older children before my arrival.
The magic of cookie, ice-cream, candy works well with kids who don’t want to participate, as long as it’s ok with moms and dads. 🙂
